Day by day
DAY 1 Arrival at Majete
Arrive Blantyre, transfer to Majete Wildlife Reserve and check in at the lodge.
DAY 2 Majete game drives
Morning and evening drives through the reserve, which now holds all of the Big Five.
DAY 3 On foot and on water
Walking safari with an armed guide, a community visit, and a sunset boat ride on the Shire.
DAY 4 North to Liwonde
Transfer to Liwonde National Park, with evening birdwatching along the floodplain.
DAY 5 Boat safari
Morning boat safari for hippo and elephant, an afternoon game drive, and sundowners on the river.
DAY 6 Liwonde on foot
